Welcome to our site! Burton Christadelphians meet at the Boat House, right on the River Trent in Stapenhill. We are a group of ordinary people who believe that the Bible is the Word of God. We would love to help you to read it for yourself. You would be very welcome to come along to find out more – we hold a regular Bible hour and other events from time to time including a Bible Reading Group, and an Open Weekend – happening in September.
We have a Bible Hour every Sunday (at 6:00pm, or 2:30pm on the first Sunday of the month) which is open to the public. Please see forthcoming subjects here.
We also have other events from time to time, such as a Bible Reading Group which runs in 6-week blocks, and an open weekend.
You can contact us at hellobible4burton @ gmail. com (please remove the spaces when you type the address – this is to try and avoid spam)
So who are we?
Christadelphians are ordinary people from all walks of life. The name “Christadelphian” means Brothers and Sisters in Christ (taken from one of the Apostle Paul’s letters). We are bound together by a common faith in the Gospel preached by Jesus and his apostles in the first century. We share the hope of resurrection to eternal life in God’s coming Kingdom on earth. Find out more about our beliefs here.
