Welcome to our site! Burton Christadelphians meet at the Boat House, right on the River Trent in Stapenhill. We are a group of ordinary people who believe that the Bible is the Word of God. We would love to help you to read it for yourself. We’d also be delighted to see you down at the Boat House.
We have a Bible Hour every Sunday (at 6:00pm, or 2:30pm on the first Sunday of the month) which is open to the public and covers a whole range of different topics in the Bible.
We also have other events from time to time, such as a Bible Workshop which runs in 6-week blocks (next session starting in October), and this September we are holding an Open Weekend. (You may have seen our adverts…)
We are a friendly bunch and would love to meet you. Or you can contact us at hellobible4burton @ gmail. com (please remove the spaces when you type the address – this is to try and avoid spam)
So who are we?
Christadelphians are ordinary people from all walks of life. The name “Christadelphian” means Brothers and Sisters in Christ (taken from one of the Apostle Paul’s letters). We are bound together by a common faith in the Gospel preached by Jesus and his apostles in the first century. We share the hope of resurrection to eternal life in God’s coming Kingdom on earth. Find out more about our beliefs here.
